Turners (Soham) Ltd, based at the West Thurrock site, is seeking a Transport Coordinator to join our established logistics team. The role focuses on coordinating collections and deliveries, monitoring driver progress, and resolving road-side issues while maintaining strong end-customer relations.

Applicants should have a Higher Grade standard, be computer literate, and demonstrate excellent organisational skills.

Transport Coordinator

Turners (Soham) Ltd is the UK’s largest privately owned transport company.

We are looking to recruit a Transport Coordinator, to be based at our West Thurrock site. This an exciting opportunity for a career in the logistics industry within a well-established distribution company.

Main functions of the role

• Liaising with our customer to assist in planning of collections and deliveries
• Ensuring drivers are on track with their deliveries and collections
• Dealing with any problems drivers may have while out on the road, liaising with the end customer
• Administration support with tasks such as order entry, data input and cost control

Requirements

• Educated to minimum Higher Grade standard
• Computer literate
• Good organisational skills

Monday to Friday 8am-5pm approx, can be discussed further in interview.
