Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland in Droitwich is seeking a Transport Coordinator to join the Droitwich Depot on a night shift (4 on 4 off, 1800-0600). This full-time, permanent role coordinates transport operations to deliver value and ensure compliance.

You will lead driver briefings, support safety initiatives, manage vehicle servicing with the garage team, and ensure legal and SOP compliance while coordinating with farm services, drivers, and the dairy.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily driver briefings and debriefings, driving performance improvements via PMS.
• Champion safety culture by using STAR cards, safety sweeps and investigations.
• Maintain and update the site run folder with clear communications.
• Coordinate breakdown and recovery procedures for MMID vehicles.
• Drive operational excellence by implementing improvement initiatives.
• Understand and enforce all work instructions and SOPs.
• Monitor service levels and report shorts and lates.
• Ensure effective resource allocation and legal compliance.
• Manage fuel master key and track usage.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing with the garage team.
• Use ATMSI system and tracking for driver debriefing.
• Coordinate inbound collection between farm services, drivers and the dairy.
• Oversee Daily Tacho Master to ensure driver compliance.
• Conduct trailer checks, temperature monitoring and audits.
• Promote MMID values and behaviours.
• Support 3PL relationships.

We’re hiring a Transport Coordinator to join our team at the Droitwich Depot within the Müller Milk & Ingredients Business.

In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll play a key part in coordinating transport operations that deliver both value and compliance.

• Shift : Night shift - 4on4off: 1800 - 0600

Transport Coordinator Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily driver briefings and debriefings, identifying and implementing performance improvements via PMS.
• Champion Müller’s safety culture by using STAR cards, conducting safety sweeps, and supporting accident/incident investigations.
• Maintain and update the site’s run folder, ensuring all changes are clearly communicated.
• Manage breakdown and recovery procedures for all MMID vehicles.
• Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing improvement initiatives.
• Understand and enforce all work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor service levels, including customer service metrics and reporting of shorts and lates.
• Ensure effective resource allocation, legal compliance, and timely communication of changes.
• Manage the site fuel master key and track fuel usage.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing in collaboration with the garage team.

• Will be responsible for coordinating the inbound collection and communication between, farm services, drivers and the dairy
