We are recruiting for a Transport Coordinator at our Bridgwater Depot.

• Contract: Full Time / 12 Fixed Term Contract
• Location: Bridgwater Depot (TA6 6DF)

Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off – Days (06:00-18:00)

Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct daily driver briefings and debriefings, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities through PMS (driver performance improvements).
• Promote and embed the Müller safety culture using STAR cards, conduct safety sweeps, and support accident/incident investigations.
• Maintain the site Run folder, ensuring all run changes are communicated.
• Manage breakdown procedures for all MMI vehicles.
• Control site assets such as GKNs, trolleys, and hand-held devices.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives and track progress.
• Understand and ensure adherence to work instructions and SOPs.
• Report on service levels, customer service, and delays.
• Ensure resource allocation is adequate, reviewed regularly, and communicated; ensure driver compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the site fuel master key and monitor usage.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing with the garage.
• Oversee the Daily Tacho Master system to ensure driver compliance.
• Conduct trailer checks, including temperature audits.
• Manage cross-dock operations.
• Maintain AS400 housekeeping standards.
• Promote Müller behaviors.
• Manage 3PL relationships.
