A leading logistics company is seeking a Transport Administrator for a temporary to permanent role. Temporary to permanent contract after 12 weeks probation, starting on £13.61ph-£19.05ph increasing after 12 weeks. 4on4off rota working 12 hour shifts 7pm-7am. Immediate Start! This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced logistics environment.
As a transport administrator you will be:
• Briefing and debriefing drivers
• Being the first point of contact for all drivers, ensuring all queries are fed back to.
• Be accountable for Legal o-license compliance.
• Operational excellence i.e. cost, service including Peak planning & delivery.
• Provide the highest level of customer care, finding resolutions and the escalation of live issues.
• The monitoring of all routes ensuring routes are running on time and escalating to the Team Manager on shift where appropriate.
• Conduct Daily administration tasks in relation to payroll systems, payroll queries holidays etc.
What we're looking for:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ideally experience in a busy transport environment or a strong administrative background.
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer literacy (e.g., MS Office)
