Job Title: Transition Consultant

Location: Midlands

Contract: Permanent

Your role

As a Transition Consultant you are responsible for growing the volume and value of the Photochromic category for Essilor. Driven by a branded approach with the Transitions family of products.

Supporting and collaborating with the Lens sales team to challenge customer behaviour and maximise Transitions growth opportunities (for both direct and indirect customers)

To add value and support Eye Care Professionals irrespective of entity or purchasing channel.

Main responsibilities:

  • Drive differentiation of the Transitions brand and products with all customers.
  • Maintain a 10-12 week call cycle, ensuring all customers are up to date on Product and activities.
  • Understand each Account's current performance, knowledge, and skills in selling Transitions.
  • Construct mutually agreed development plans with each Account to increase Transitions product dispensing.
  • Review business performance regularly with each customer and Essilor colleagues, mainly lens Business Development Managers, to achieve category and revenue growth.
  • Utilize available tools, support programs, and promotions to help ECPs grow.
  • Deliver CET training as needed to advance business objectives.
  • Maintain current product knowledge of Essilor and competitors.
  • Keep accurate customer records and reports for relevant accounts to analyze sales data and market activity, recording all relevant information in Salesforce.
  • Review customer needs and feedback continually.
  • Act as an ambassador of Essilor and its values at all times.

Main requirements:

  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Proven track record of delivering effective training and coaching to change behavior.
  • Experience of training in group and individual settings.
  • Knowledge of ophthalmic lens theory.
