Job summary

New Meaning Training seeks a Transition Support Tutor to help young people aged 15-25 facing barriers such as anxiety, autism or trauma. You’ll start in safe settings (often at home) and guide learners gradually into small groups and Buckinghamshire centres, with potential mainstream inclusion and employment.

You will deliver PALS and SEMH support, plus Functional Skills as appropriate, building relationships and adapting approaches for each learner’s journey.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated empathy and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan, deliver and review group and 1:1 sessions.
• Commitment to CPD and safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 and small group sessions focused on lifeskills and wellbeing.
• Adapt sessions to individual learner needs and progression.
• Support transitions between home, centre, and work environments.
