Job summary

La Fosse is seeking an experienced Transition Manager to join a skilled team delivering bids, mobilisations, transformations and operational programmes. You will turn complex customer requirements into clear, credible transition plans and bring structure and confidence to programmes through the sales and delivery lifecycles.

The role requires balancing ambiguity and competing priorities across sales and delivery, with strong planning, governance and risk management to drive successful client

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects or workstreams within complex programmes.
• Knowledge of bids, mobilisations, service transitions, transformations and exits.
• Experience across sales and delivery lifecycles in outsourced services.
• Strong programme planning, scheduling and estimating skills.
• Experience managing RAID, governance, reporting and change control.

• Develop robust transition, mobilisation and implementation plans.
• Define the scope, structure and delivery approach for projects and workstreams.
• Build and maintain detailed plans using appropriate work breakdown structures.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
• Establish programme governance, reporting, change control and financial controls.
• Develop operational readiness and cutover plans.

Transition Manager

Our consultancy client is looking to recruit anexperienced Transition Manager to join a highly skilled team who run bids, mobilisations, transformations and operational programmes.

Working closely with Principal Transition Leads, Transition Directors and senior stakeholders, you will help turn complex customer requirements into clear, credible and deliverable transition plans. You will bring structure, control and confidence to programmes throughout the sales and delivery lifecycles.

We're looking for an experienced programme or transition professional who is comfortable working across both sales and delivery environments. You will be able to bring clarity to ambiguity, operate effectively under pressure and manage several competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Develop robust transition, mobilisation and implementation plans.
• Define the scope, structure and delivery approach for projects and workstreams.
• Build and maintain detailed plans using appropriate work breakdown structures.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
• Establish programme governance, reporting, change control and financial controls.
• Develop operational readiness and cutover plans.

Key Skills/Experience Required

• Experience of defining and delivering projects or workstreams within complex programmes.
• Knowledge of bids, mobilisations, service transitions, transformations and exits.
• Experience across sales and delivery lifecycles, ideally within an outsourced service provider.
• Strong programme planning, scheduling and estimating skills.
• Practical experience managing RAID, governance, reporting and change control.
• Experience of programme assurance and quality assurance.
• Operational readiness and cutover planning experience.
