Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in London is seeking a Transformation Test Manager (ServiceNow) for an initial 6-month contract, based in our London office with 3 days onsite per week.

You will lead the testing strategy across SIT/UAT/BAT, manage defect processes, and collaborate with program engineering teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as Test Manager or Lead on large-scale transformation programs.
• ServiceNow test leadership experience.
• Defect management processes and tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM Octane.
• Test data management knowledge.
• Understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies (Waterfall, V-Model, Hybrid Agile).
• Familiarity with performance and security testing concepts (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and gain approval for a comprehensive test strategy aligned with program objectives.
• Define testing framework including SIT, UAT, BAT, entry/exit criteria, environments and tooling.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate testing into the program plan.
• Estimate testing efforts, resources, and budget, with regular updates to leadership.
• Oversee end-to-end execution of SIT, UAT, BAT with engineering teams and end-users.
• Establish and manage test cycles and defect management processes.
• Lead defect triage meetings and report status to program leadership.
• Act as primary point of contact for testing-related matters within the program.
• Mentor a team of test analysts/engineers and foster quality culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and gain approval for a comprehensive test strategy and approach aligned with the program's objectives, scope, and timelines.
• Define the overall testing framework, including test phases (SIT, UAT, BAT), entry/exit criteria, test environments, data management, and tooling strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate testing activities seamlessly into the overall program plan.
• Estimate testing efforts, resource requirements, and budget needs, providing regular updates to program leadership.
• Oversee the end-to-end execution of all testing phases (SIT, UAT, BAT) in partnership with the program engineering teams and end-user resources.
• Establish and manage test cycles, ensuring adherence to defined test processes, standards, and best practices across all testing activities.
• Implement and manage a robust defect management process, from logging and categorisation to tracking, resolution, and re-testing.
• Lead daily/weekly defect triage meetings with relevant stakeholders, providing clear and concise defect status reporting to program leadership.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all testing-related matters within the program.
• Potentially build, lead, and mentor a team of test analysts/engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications required:

• Ability to demonstrate proven experience as Test Manager or Lead on large-scale transformation programs.
• Proven experience managing testing across multiple phases, including SIT, UAT, and BAT, in complex, multi-application environments.
• ServiceNow test leadership experience.
• Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and plans for critical business applications.
• Strong understanding of traditional software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, V-Model, Hybrid Agile).
• Expertise in defect management processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM Octane).
• Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, XRay, TestRail).
• Experience with test data management strategies and tools.
• Experience in the financial services industry (desirable).
• Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and tools (desirable).
• Experience with performance and security testing concept (desirable).
