Job description

We are currently seeking a Transformation Project Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.

The successful candidate will be working within the NG Bailey and Freedom Services System Transformation Programme (SST), which aims to replace the existing IFS system with a new work management and finance system, including JobLogic and FocalPoint. The Project Manager will report directly to the SST Programme Manager.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading, directing, and overseeing the delivery and completion of projects within the agreed time, budget, scope, and objectives. This includes aligning with the workstreams and project deliveries for the Facilities Services project and its individual phases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing project development and deliverables, ensuring documentation is approved by stakeholders within agreed timelines. This includes Project Initiation Document, Project Plan, Risk and Issue Management, Resource Planning, and Third Party Management.
  • Managing the project budget.
  • Engaging stakeholders and managing expectations.
  • Collaborating with third-party suppliers.
  • Ensuring deliverables are completed according to the plan, milestones, and approach agreed with business stakeholders and the Project Board.
  • Identifying, managing, and resolving risks and issues, and communicating mitigation actions to minimize project impact.
  • Reporting project progress to committees and forums based on governance structures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in delivering complex system and business change programs across cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of the project lifecycle.
  • Excellent stakeholder and third-party management skills.
