Job summary

Ex-Mil Recruitment is seeking a Project Support Officer to join a high-impact transformation programme. The role sits at the heart of delivery across multiple projects, ensuring coordination, governance, and informed decision-making through structured support.

You will maintain programme structure, drive momentum, and provide operational guidance reminiscent of military staff or operations roles, enabling senior leaders to perform effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured project, programme or operational delivery environments.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities with multitasking skills.
• Proven track record managing risks, issues and dependencies to resolution.
• Confident communicator with robust stakeholder engagement capability.
• Familiarity with governance frameworks and assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and sustain programme plans; ensure alignment across teams.
• Produce performance reports and support governance cycles with stakeholders.
• Maintain programme controls, standards and best practices.
• Prepare documentation for boards and decision-making forums.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and expenditure.
• Maintain risk registers and drive issues to resolution.
