Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Transformation Manager to drive high-priority change across operations. You will turn insights into practical actions, work with cross-functional teams and embed new ways of working to deliver lasting improvements for customers and colleagues.

You will lead workstreams or support wider teams, applying governance and data-driven insights to manage risks and dependencies, while communicating clearly to diverse audiences. Hybrid working with Reading/London sites.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience delivering transformation, change or business improvement programmes.
• Experience with programme or project management including planning, governance and risk management.
• Ability to turn data into practical action and deliver measurable improvements.
• Experience engaging stakeholders across functions and levels.
• Experience sustaining delivery through change and ambiguity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Turn strategic objectives into practical delivery plans.
• Support transformation programmes through definition to embedding.
• Use data to identify opportunities and simplify processes.
• Establish governance, controls and success measures.
• Monitor progress, manage risks and dependencies, escalate when needed.
• Engage stakeholders and influence across the organisation.
• Support matrix and virtual teams through change.
• Help teams adopt new ways of working and behaviours.
• Create clear programme documentation and communications.
