Job summary

Thames Water seeks a Change Project Manager to deliver improvements in Renewals and Logistics, driving projects from discovery to delivery. Based in Green Park, Reading, the role supports operations across Thames Water sites and from home as needed.

The role requires managing projects, engaging stakeholders, and developing operating models. It is a hybrid position with 36 hours weekly and travel across the estate, including car use. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects and/or change management; Prince2/APM/Agile/Lean certs are desirable but not required.
• Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong planning and self-management capabilities.
• Willing to get hands-on and act as a temporary subject matter expert.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and delivery of projects, including improvements to existing services and the creation of new services.
• Review and develop operating models and processes for long-term outcomes across the portfolio.
• Drive successful deployment of project outcomes through governance and ownership.
• Capture and communicate benefits realized from projects.
• Lead change through high-performance behaviours and stakeholder engagement.
• Engage and manage stakeholders at all levels to ensure smooth delivery.
• Embed change and hand over to business-as-usual operations.
