Transformation Director – PE Finance & Value Creation

Job summary

Accordion’s Transformation Practice is seeking senior professionals to advise PE-backed portfolio companies on profitability improvements, finance process optimization, liquidity enhancements and digital transformation.

The role is based in London with the flexibility to work remotely 1-2 days a week. You will lead multi-project engagements, interact with C-suite executives, and travel regularly across Europe to client sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience in a client serving role at a top-tier accounting or financial advisory firm, and/or mix of client service and private industry experience at a senior level.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects at the same time and managing client/sponsor dynamics as well as internal team dynamics.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with team members to serve clients within the CFO office of private equity portfolio companies.
• Lead activities in finance strategy and processes improvements (e.g., capability assessments, operating model design, tech roadmaps).
• Design and enhance financial processes including FP&A, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report; develop KPI dashboards.
