An exciting opportunity has arisen within the East and South East London (ESEL) Pathology Network at Homerton Hospital for a dedicated Biochemistry Transformation and Compliance Lead. We seek a qualified and experienced manager who shares our vision of delivering a high-quality Biochemistry service.
A comprehensive transformation initiative aims to create a single, integrated pathology network across seven hospital laboratories. The model centers around The Royal London Hospital (RLH), a major trauma center supporting various clinical specialties through linked service laboratories.
Extensive experience in Biochemistry and managing complex transformation projects is essential. The candidate must be adept at engaging with clinical users, working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and managing large stakeholder communities. The role involves line managing the Biochemistry quality and training team and working closely with scientific and operational leads.
The NHS East and South East London Pathology Partnership provides services to Barts Health NHS Trust, Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. The partnership is hosted by Barts Health, with The Royal London Hospital as the main hub and Essential Service Laboratories at other sites.
