Job summary

HireIQ is seeking an experienced Transfer Pricing leader in Manchester to join a growing practice within a leading international professional services firm. You will lead a team of tax specialists, advise multinational clients, and play a key role in developing client relationships and winning new business.

You will manage, coach and develop the team, work closely with Partners and Directors to implement business plans, identify opportunities, and deliver high-quality transfer pricing

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, CTA or ATT with demonstrable experience at Manager level or above.
• Strong transfer pricing experience advising multinational businesses on complex matters.
• Proven ability to manage, coach and develop teams.
• Commercial awareness, strategic thinking and a business‑oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead transfer pricing assignments, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective team management.
• Manage a portfolio of client relationships, delivering excellent service with autonomy.
• Work with Partners and Directors to implement business plans and identify new opportunities.
• Develop internal and external networks to generate fee-earning opportunities and support pitches.

The Role

• Manage, coach and develop a team of tax specialists, supporting individual performance and team objectives.
• Work closely with Partners and Directors to implement business plans and identify new business opportunities.
• Build internal and external networks to generate new fee-earning opportunities and support client pitches.
• Lead transfer pricing assignments, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective team management.
• Manage a portfolio of client relationships, delivering excellent service with a high degree of autonomy.
• Advise multinational clients throughout the transfer pricing lifecycle, including strategy, implementation, compliance, documentation and audit defence.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the practice while maintaining high professional standards.

Your Experience

• Qualified ACA, CTA or ATT, with demonstrable experience at Manager level or above.
• Strong transfer pricing experience, ideally advising multinational businesses on complex matters.
• Proven ability to manage, coach and develop teams.
• Commercial awareness, strategic thinking and a business-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication, analytical and client relationship management skills.
• Experience managing projects independently and identifying new business opportunities.
