A look into the role

• Advising a broad range of clients on various tax issues, including compliance and advisory projects.
• Supporting Directors and Partners by managing and developing a team of knowledgeable tax specialists throughout the private equity investment lifecycle.
• Actively participating in client meetings and confidently addressing client queries.
• Building trust and respect by providing high-quality tax advice, meeting expectations, and adhering to deadlines.
• Developing junior team members, understanding their career aspirations, and supporting their development.
• Providing innovative solutions to tax issues, proactively preparing for exits, and cross-selling services within the GT network.
• Leading on pitches and proposals, actively growing the business by demonstrating capabilities to clients and targets.

The minimum requirements include a professional qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with post-qualification experience, and confidence managing a portfolio of private equity-backed businesses.

Preferred skills (not mandatory):

• Experience with PE-backed businesses and transactions (due diligence and/or tax structuring).
• Experience reviewing work and supervising in a tax environment.
• Background in professional services.
• Managing large portfolios of private equity and transactional tax clients.
• Business development experience.
• Strong desire to deepen knowledge of the firm’s services.
