Location and Ways of Working

Our principle is “Locate for your Day,” allowing staff to choose their work location based on business needs, primarily remote work with some office presence. Our Global Hub is located at Victoria Square House, Birmingham, with a small presence in Central London. Employees are expected to commute to Birmingham at their own cost, with travel expenses reimbursed when necessary.

Main Purpose of the Role

We seek an experienced, detail-oriented finance professional to lead our year-end accounting close and ensure accurate statutory accounts compliance. You will manage the preparation and submission of BTA’s CLoS returns and statutory reports to DCMS, coordinate external audits with the NAO, and oversee fiscal operations across international jurisdictions to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage the year-end accounting and statutory reporting processes.
  2. Prepare and submit BTA’s CLoS returns and reports to DCMS.
  3. Coordinate external audits with the NAO.
  4. Ensure UK VAT compliance.
  5. Support the preparation of UK and overseas corporation tax returns with external consultants.
  6. Provide strategic tax advice on domestic and international tax liabilities.
  7. Oversee fiscal operations across international jurisdictions to ensure compliance.
