As a Product Manager in Morgan Payments, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

The Transactional Credit Management (TCM) team is a newly formed global team that supports the Payments organization through a follow-the-sun model. The TCM team oversees the 1LOD Payments frameworks and internal policies that define business risk appetites across various payment products and verticals, including Credit-managed and non-Credit-managed clients. They act as an internal risk clearing house within Payments, partnering with First and Second Line of Defense teams to ensure coordinated risk management processes that benefit the firm and enhance client experience. The team is a subject matter expert across payment verticals such as Liquidity & Account Solutions, Clearing, Foreign Exchange, Receivables, Public Sector, and Commercial Card, working within the Liquidity & Account Solutions organization in Morgan Payments.

Job responsibilities

  1. Develops a product strategy and vision that delivers value to customers.
  2. Conducts discovery efforts and market research to identify customer solutions and incorporate them into the product roadmap.
  3. Maintains and develops a product backlog aligned with the strategic roadmap and value proposition.
  4. Establishes and monitors key success metrics like cost, features, risk, and reliability.
  5. Collaborates with Credit Risk and other teams to plan and execute the onboarding/offboarding processes for non-Credit-managed clients.
  6. Implements governance frameworks to monitor and refine non-Credit-managed client onboarding/offboarding globally.
  7. Coordinates with transaction approval and risk management teams on intraday transaction decisioning processes.
  8. Develops governance, monitoring, and reporting processes related to non-Credit-managed clients in partnership with Exposure Management.
  9. Works with Product Development and Technology to define technical requirements for funds control platform development.
  10. Communicates strategic changes and team remit to regional stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Expertise in product management, credit risk management, or a relevant domain.
  • Advanced knowledge of product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics.
  • Proven experience leading product lifecycle activities from discovery to value management.
  • Technical proficiency with systems, large data sets, and analytics.
  • Subject matter expertise across payment verticals.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate a global, complex stakeholder environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
  • Experience in payments-related credit or transactional credit risk management.
