Responsibilities:

• Providing expert legal counsel on regulatory and transactional matters related to commodities.
• Advising clients on UK and EU financial services rules and commodity market regulations.
• Handling licensing and compliance issues arising from MiFID II, EMIR, REMIT, MAR, and Brexit-related changes.
• Analysing and staying up to date with the ever-evolving legal landscape in the commodities sector.
• Collaborating closely with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor in the UK, with an excellent academic background.
• Substantial experience and a proven track record in commodities law, regulatory matters, and transactional work.
• Sound understanding of UK and EU financial services regulations and commodity market rules.
• Familiarity with licensing and compliance requirements under MiFID II, EMIR, REMIT, MAR, and post-Brexit changes.
