Hybrid: x1 a week in Holborn office

What you will do:

1. You will support the project management of the deal execution process for complex transactions; the majority of which will be LMA based.
2. You will take personal responsibility for ensuring an excellent customer experience and ensure that transactions are completed in timescales driven by our customers.
3. You will support Transaction Managers in proactively managing internal and external partners in the negotiation of LMA facility letters through to drawdown and completion process.
4. You will be acting as an expert on documentation, security and legal due diligence queries relating to corporate and commercial lending applications.
5. You will assist Transaction Managers to provide proactive solutions to lending deals that snag, achieve Credit acceptance on relevant issues and influence our colleagues in the right way to make the right decision.
6. You will support the function of being a point of reference to deal execution and knowledge of documentation and security.
7. Be able to run independently with less complex corporate deals.

What you will need:

• Some familiarity with UK Property, Banking and Corporate law.
• Dealing with issues around statutory requirements and finding solutions to move towards satisfaction & draw down.
• Ability to assess, analyse and provide suggested solutions to take deals (trading, development and investment) forward so that the Relationship Director is free to move on to the next deal.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and clients, always providing creative solutions to complex issues whilst protecting the bank from loss (financial, regulatory or reputational).
• Ability to present all conditions precedent for sign off.
• Help build processes and policies for the team – this is a revolution.
• Knowledge of LMA (Loan Market Association) documentation including ability to understand and support in the negotiation of LMA documentation.
• Some lending & credit experience.
• Good understanding of Risk Management.
• Anticipates future issues and finds solutions to problems based on limited information and past experiences.
