Job summary

Dickson O&Brien Associates in London is seeking an experienced Transaction Services Manager to lead financial due diligence assignments for corporate, private equity and investment clients within a growing professional services team.

You will manage multiple FDD projects, analyse financial information such as quality of earnings, net debt and working capital, and present clear reports to clients and senior stakeholders, while mentoring junior staff and supporting business development.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transaction Services Manager to join a growing professional services team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Transaction Services professional looking to progress their career, working on a broad range of transactions and advising corporate, private equity and investment clients.

The Role

As a Transaction Services Manager, you will take responsibility for managing and delivering financial due diligence assignments, working closely with clients and senior stakeholders throughout the transaction process.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and executing Financial Due Diligence (FDD) assignments.
• Reviewing and analysing financial information, including quality of earnings, net debt and working capital.
• Identifying key financial risks, opportunities and commercial considerations within transactions.
• Preparing clear, commercially focused due diligence reports.
• Managing multiple assignments and ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and within deadlines.
• Liaising directly with business owners, purchasers, investors and legal advisers.
• Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work.
• Developing strong relationships with clients and contributing to business development opportunities.
• Working collaboratively with wider advisory and transaction teams.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence professional with a strong technical accounting and commercial understanding.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence or a similar advisory environment.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Experience working on transactions and interpreting complex financial information.
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
• The confidence to deal directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing assignments and supporting more junior colleagues.
• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification is desirable.
