Job summary

Cortus Advisory Group is seeking an experienced Transaction Services Manager to lead due diligence engagements across buy-side, sell-side, and refinancing transactions. You will work with Partners and junior team members, managing engagements from planning to completion, and ensuring high-quality, timely client deliverables.

Based in Leeds with occasional travel to other UK offices, you will oversee reports, discuss findings with senior stakeholders, and contribute to the growth of Cortus’ FDD

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification required.
• Strong background in Transaction Services, audit or related corporate finance roles.
• Proven experience managing due diligence engagements and client relationships.
• Excellent technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP and IFRS) and strong financial analysis skills.
• Strong project management, communication and report-writing skills.
• Advanced Excel capability and confidence working with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Transaction Services engagements from planning through to completion.
• Oversee engagement set-up, including client acceptance, risk management, drafting engagement letters, scopes and information requests.
• Develop understanding of client needs and deliverables, communicating to the project team.
• Monitor progress, budgets and timelines, escalating issues as needed.
• Produce full draft due diligence reports and analysis sections for Partner review.
• Ensure reports are concise, commercially focused and highlight risks and value drivers.
• Build strong client relationships and maintain momentum with engagements.
