Job summary

Catering in Fakenham, Norfolk, is seeking professional Class 1 (C+E) drivers for ongoing general-haulage work. Opportunities include regular shifts, weekend options, and a modern fleet. DQC and Digital Tachograph Card are required, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

Competitive rates and weekly pay are offered; shifts average 12–13 hours. Location: Fakenham and surrounding areas. Applicants should be punctual, reliable and well-presented, with a full UK licence and minimal penalty points.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with C+E Entitlement.
• Current DQC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 2 years’ commercial driving experience, however all applications will be considered.
• Must be punctual and reliable at all times.
• No more than 6 penalty points (No DD’s or DR’s).
• Knowledge of Drivers Hours’ and Working Time Directive Legislation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
• Carry out safe, efficient, and punctual deliveries and collections.
• Communicate effectively with traffic planners regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Remain compliant with EU Tachograph and WTD Driver Hours.
