Job summary

Driver Hire Norwich is recruiting Weekend Class 1 HGV Drivers for regular weekend work, with Saturday and Sunday shifts and an ASAP start.

Work with reputable local clients on fridge work, tanker runs and trunking, with competitive weekend rates and enhanced overtime. Weekly pay, holiday pay and pension are provided, plus flexible weekend shifts and ongoing weekend contracts to boost earnings.

Qualifications

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence is required.
• Driver CPC & Digital Tacho Card must be valid.
• Previous Class 1 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 1 trunking or local deliveries (client dependent).
• Complete all deliveries safely and on time.
• Accurately complete paperwork and vehicle checks.
• Comply with health & safety procedures.
• Adhere to driving hours & WTR regulations.

Requirements

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tacho Card
• Previous Class 1 experience preferred
• Maximum 6 points (no CD, IN, DD or DR endorsements)
• Good knowledge of driving hours and road regulations
