Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical qualification with GMC registration.
• Experience in medical education or training leadership.
• Ability to coordinate across regional educational networks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of education and training as defined by GMC and national bodies.
• Commit to national vision and educational quality management.
• Manage objectives within budget with contribution to savings when needed.
• Ensure Code of Practice guidelines are met for training posts.
• Provide guidance to trainees on OOP/IDTs/LTFT/acting up applications.
• Lead educational and workforce development initiatives and curriculum delivery.
• Develop educational programmes to support curriculum competencies.
