Job summary

Next Phase Recruitment Limited is seeking a Training Officer to lead GMP‑focused training, ensure audit readiness, and champion quality across a pharmaceutical site in Birmingham. The role demands designing and delivering training programs, maintaining training records, and supporting MHRA inspections.

You will partner with QA teams, leverage data to assess training effectiveness, and drive a culture of continuous improvement in quality management and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences, Quality or HR/L&D (preferred).
• Experience in QA, training, or quality systems roles in GMP environments (essential).
• Knowledge of GMP, MHRA compliance, and QMS frameworks.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the site training matrix aligned to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver GMP induction and refresher training for employees and contractors.
• Own and maintain training records ensuring completeness and audit readiness.
• Assess training effectiveness via competency checks, data analysis, and KPIs.
• Support internal audits and host MHRA inspections related to training compliance.
• Champion a positive training and quality culture across all teams.
