Job summary

Next Phase Recruitment Limited is seeking a Training Officer - Quality Management & Compliance in Birmingham to design and deliver GMP-focused training, maintain training records, and champion a culture of quality across the site.

You will manage the site training matrix, deliver inductions for employees and contractors, support internal audits and MHRA inspections, and strive for audit readiness and continuous improvement in training and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences, Quality or HR/L&D preferred.
• Experience in QA, training, or quality systems roles in GMP environments essential.
• Knowledge of GMP, MHRA compliance, and QMS frameworks.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the site training matrix aligned to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver GMP induction and refresher training for employees and contractors.
• Own and maintain training records ensuring completeness and audit readiness.
• Assess training effectiveness via competency checks, data analysis, and KPIs.
• Support internal audits and host MHRA inspections related to training compliance.
• Champion a positive training and quality culture across all teams.
