Training Manager

DSV is seeking a dedicated Training Manager at our Mercia Park location to lead and develop our training initiatives. Reporting to the General Manager, the Training Manager will collaborate closely with Training Specialists, BCM, Operational Teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of effective training programs aligned with business goals.

The primary responsibilities include managing the Training Team, delivering WMS and operational training, and supporting continuous improvement projects. The role involves working with HR and operational managers to develop staff, oversee training processes, and ensure compliance with company standards and policies.

Key Tasks

• Manage the Training Team in delivering training for new implementations, site moves, and ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with HR, Business Development, Finance, and other support functions to support client implementations and improvements.
• Train and develop Training Specialists and deliver WMS and operational training at various levels.
• Create support plans for projects, develop processes for training nominations and KPI tracking, and deliver internal HR training.

Key Accountable Areas

• Oversee daily training activities, ensure process improvements, and maintain governance standards.
• Coordinate with Business Development and other teams to meet project requirements.
• Lead recruitment, development, and performance management of direct reports, fostering employee engagement.
• Maintain relationships with BCM, HR, and other functions to support talent development and continuous improvement.

General Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policies, ensure confidentiality, and maintain professional conduct.
• Comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
