Job summary

The Inner Temple Library is seeking an Assistant Librarian (Training) to design, organise and deliver training outputs for members and library staff. The role also supports general library and legal enquiry services as part of the Enquiry Desk Rota and supervises a Senior Library Assistant.

You will work 35 hours per week during operational hours, with occasional evening and Saturday shifts as training schedules require. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• A qualified Librarian with proven experience in an information setting and training delivery.
• Experience in designing and structuring training and information sessions.
• Knowledge of hardcopy and online legal resources is desirable; full training provided.
• Excellent IT skills including MS Office, web tech and library systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, organise and deliver Library training output for members and staff.
• Provide general library and legal enquiry services via the Enquiry Desk Rota.
• Manage a Senior Library Assistant and support training schedules.
• Work 35 hours per week with possible evening and Saturday shifts.
