Reed Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking a Training Instructor to deliver practical and compliant workplace training across a busy operational site. You will help ensure employees are trained, competent and confident in safe equipment operation and processes.

Collaborating with HR and L&D, you will support compliance, workforce capability and a strong safety culture while developing materials, records and induction programmes for a wide range of roles and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering workplace training within manufacturing, engineering or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and safe systems of work.
• Excellent communication, coaching and presentation skills.
• Experience delivering both practical and classroom-based learning.
• Ability to assess competency and provide constructive feedback.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Deliver practical and classroom-based training across the site.
• Assess employee competence via demonstrations, observations and questioning.
• Identify training needs and plan schedules for programmes.
• Maintain training records, competency assessments and matrices.
• Support managers to ensure employees are trained before operating activities.
• Promote safe working practices and contribute to safety culture.
• Develop and update training materials, lesson plans and refreshers.
• Support induction and onboarding training activities.
