Job summary

The TLT SQE training programme places you at the centre of real legal work, combining study with four-seat training across jurisdictions. From February to July 2027 you’ll sit SQE1 before starting your four-seat contract in September 2027 and, in your first two seats, prepare for SQE2 with strong supervision.

You’ll qualify as a Solicitor in England & Wales and dual qualify into Northern Ireland, unlocking opportunities to work across UK and NI jurisdictions.

Job description

The TLT SQE training programme places you at the centre of real legal work. FromFebruary to July 2027, you’ll study for and sitSQE1 before starting yourfour-seat training contract in September 2027. During your first two seats, you’ll prepare for and sitSQE2, supported by your team and supervisor.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, contribute to live projects, and be recognised for your impact, all while becoming a trusted advisor. When you’ve finished the training contract, you’ll qualify as a Solicitor in England & Wales and dual qualify into Northern Ireland, opening doors to work across multiple jurisdictions.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work on high-value cases and long-term client partnerships across sectors including Infrastructure, Future Energy, Digital, Financial Services, Leisure, Food & Drink, Public Sector, Real Estate, and Retail & Consumer Goods. With a variety of seat options depending on location, you’ll build technical legal expertise and sharpen your commercial instincts.
