Job summary

Tees Valley Women’s Centre is seeking a Training & Engagement Officer to join our team in South Bank, Middlesbrough. You will support women to identify learning and development opportunities, provide encouragement, and help them progress toward personal, educational and employment goals.

The role involves working closely with training providers and partner agencies to reach women who may face barriers in accessing support.

Qualifications

• Experience in training, learning, employability, engagement or community-based support.
• Ability to work with women one-to-one and in small groups.
• Warm, approachable, non-judgmental and supportive manner.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with women to understand individual goals and aspirations and provide encouragement and practical support.

Tees Valley Women’s Centre is looking for a passionate, supportive and person-centred Training & Engagement Officer to join our small and dedicated team in South Bank, Middlesbrough.

This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference to women’s lives — helping women overcome barriers, build confidence and take positive steps towards their personal, educational and employment goals.

We’re looking for someone who is warm, approachable and non-judgmental, with experience in training, learning, employability, engagement or community-based support.

The successful candidate will work directly with women to understand their individual goals and aspirations, identify opportunities for learning and development, and provide encouragement and practical support throughout their journey.

You’ll also work closely with training providers, community organisations and partner agencies, helping us develop opportunities and reach women who may otherwise struggle to access support.
