Job summary

Volvo Trucks is seeking a Training and Apprentice Coordinator to develop and support apprentices across the South and East region, coordinating training, induction, and development plans. You will partner with dealer networks, learning providers and colleagues to deliver a compelling development journey.

You will manage training administration, maintain records and KPIs, and coach managers to identify needs and implement annual competence plans.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate apprenticeship programmes across the South and East region.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of apprentices, guiding them through their journey.
• Coordinate training and induction for new starters and colleagues, ensuring training is organised and up to date.
• Coach managers and colleagues to identify development needs and create annual competence development plans.

• Manage training administration and identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
• Identify opportunities to improve training and development approaches, share best practices and support regional events.

As Training and Apprentice Coordinator, you will help create meaningful development opportunities, support apprentices throughout their journey and ensure colleagues have access to the training and support they need to succeed. You will work closely with our dealer network, learning providers and colleagues across the business, helping us onboard and develop talented people while creating an experience that makes Volvo Trucks an employer of choice., You will coordinate our apprenticeship and training activity, helping apprentices navigate their development journey and ensuring they receive the right support and opportunities. • Coordinate apprenticeship programmes across the South and East region
• Support the recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of apprentices, providing guidance and support throughout their apprenticeship journey
• Coordinate training and induction activity for new starters and colleagues, ensuring training is organised effectively and information is accurate and up to date
• Coach and support managers and colleagues in identifying development needs and creating and delivering annual competence development plans
• Maintain competence data, training records and KPIs, providing accurate management information to support decision-making
• Manage training administration and identify opportunities to improve processes, ways of working and best practice across the region
• Identify opportunities to improve our training and development approach, sharing best practice and supporting regional events

You will be working closely with managers, learning providers, dealer point managers and the wider People & Culture team, including Talent Acquisition, People & Culture Advisors and People & Culture Apprentice, to ensure they receive the right support and opportunities.

• Experience with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint

• A calm and pragmatic approach, with the ability to find effective solutions
• Experience gathering, consolidating and presenting accurate data and management information within required timescales
• A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to use information and feedback to identify opportunities to improve processes, ways of working and best practice
