Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Training Analyst in Winnersh to join the CMDC Training Design Team. You will analyse DSAT documentation data from training courses and deliver compliant training needs evaluations to meet the Authority’s requirements.

Develop training courseware through analysis, design, maintenance, review and production of DSAT documentation and processes for military training, collaborating with subject matter experts to capture required data.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels within an organisation and with customers.
  • Experience in training analysis and contribution to significant training courses.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Detailed knowledge of UK MoD DSAT procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team responsible for analysis, design, maintenance, review and production of DSAT documents and processes for training sites and organisations.
  • Identify and articulate responses to new or changing training requirements arising from customer specifications.
  • Analyse, capture and articulate training needs from new or changing requirements.
  • Recommend optimal training solutions to meet requirements, and define the solution in detail to enable Training Design to commence.
  • Produce, maintain and update DSAT documentation such as FTS, TPS, TOs, WTS and RTGS.

Role & Responsibilities

The Training Analyst is responsible to the CMDC Training Design Team Manager to analyse DSAT documentation data from training courses and deliver compliant training needs evaluations for the compilation of training solution(s) to meet the Authority’s training requirements.

To develop training courseware through the analysis, design, maintenance, review, and production of DSAT Documentation & processes for military training.

Responsibilities
  • Work as a member of a team responsible for the analysis, design, maintenance, review, and production of DSAT Documentation & processes for military training sites and organisations.
  • Identifying and articulating responses to new or changing training requirements, which may arise from analysis of customer specifications.
  • Analysing, capturing and articulating training needs arising from new or changing requirements.
  • Inform on the optimum training solution(s) to meet the Authority’s training requirements, balancing time, cost and quality, and define the training solution at the appropriate level of detail to enable Training Design to commence.
  • Producing, maintaining and/or updating Training Design from: Formal Training Statement (FTS) (including the Training Performance Statement (TPS), Training Objectives (TOs), Workplace Training Statement (WTS), Residual Training Gap Statement (RTGS)) so that they adequately and accurately reflect the Authority’s requirement.
  • Carry out Knowledge, Skills and Attitude/Attribute (KSA) Analysis to determine accurate complication of a comprehensive Learning Scalar (LScalar) to accurately reflect the Authority’s training need.
  • Requesting and reviewing existing training documentation as required.
  • Interviewing subject matter experts to collate required data as required.
  • Participating in internal workshops to discuss and agree findings from analysis and writing reports on the findings of the analysis.
  • Any other duties required to support the evaluation of course data.
  • Be ‘Responsible for championing and fostering a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement’.
  • Any other duties required to complete the CMDC Training Service.
Required Experience
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels both internally and within the customer organisation.
  • Experience in training analysis and have contributed to the analysis of significant training courses.
  • Experienced and capable of working autonomously and within a team.
  • Detailed knowledge and practical experience of UK Ministry of Defence procedures and policies Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
Desirable Experience
  • Experience in the use of programme management tools and applications.
  • Experience in the development and delivery environment of significant training courses.
  • Experience in Change Management processes.
