About The Candidate

We seek a qualified and experienced Trainer/Assessor in Team Leading and Management, working with Level 3, 4, and 5 apprentices and their employers. The role involves conducting progress reviews, teaching, training, assessing, and being the main contact. Candidates should have enthusiasm, excellent interpersonal, IT, and organizational skills, and be willing to travel across the northeast region.

About The Role

To inspire, motivate, and coach apprentices, monitoring their progress and supporting their timely completion. To design, develop, and deliver training/workshops, support quality improvement processes, and engage employers to support growth and satisfaction.

Role Responsibilities
  • Coach apprentices individually, developing skills, knowledge, and behaviors.
  • Monitor and assess apprentice progress.
  • Ensure compliance with apprenticeship standards and funding requirements.
  • Design and deliver workshop training in the workplace or college.
  • Support quality assurance and improvement processes.
  • Engage with employers to support growth and satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as appropriate.
Qualifications
  • A1 or TAQA 301-3 Assessor Award
  • A Certificate in Teaching or willingness to work towards
  • Numeracy and Literacy qualifications (Level 2 minimum)
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience delivering apprenticeships in the occupational sector.
  • Current relevant experience in the occupational sector.
  • Experience delivering to timely achievement across levels 2-5.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and manage workload.
