Job Description

As a Trainee Water Pressure Tester, you will assist in testing, maintaining, and installing components of water supply systems. This includes pressure testing, leak detection, and ensuring water safety standards. Training will be provided to develop necessary skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pressure Testing: Assist with testing water mains and connections to ensure functionality and detect leaks.
  • Leak Detection and Repair: Assist in identifying and diagnosing leaks.
  • Sampling and Chlorination: Assist with water sampling and chlorination to maintain water quality and safety.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Help complete paperwork, record test results, and maintain records.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow health and safety procedures, conduct risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work with team members, developers, and contractors to ensure efficient service.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of plumbing and water systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and safety commitment.
  • A valid driving license may be necessary.
