Job summary

Deaf Unity is recruiting a Vision Operator to support Coronation Street productions. The successful candidate will train to ensure high-quality picture acquisition in studio and on-location shoots, under the guidance of senior engineers and the Vision Lead.

You will learn to operate video servers, ingest devices, and assess overall visual and audio quality to align with the director’s vision. The role involves collaborating with multiple departments in a fast-paced TV environment, maintaining

Qualifications

• Interest in photography, videography or lighting for cameras.
• Critical approach to picture quality and studio lighting.
• Ability to assess and correct colourimetry of video images.
• Experience in a technical production environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Train to be responsible for picture quality and acquisition in studio and on location.
• Operate video servers and ingest devices, assessing visual and audio quality.
• Work with Senior Vision Engineers, reporting to Vision Lead and Technical Manager.
