Job summary

Halfords Careers is launching a Trainee Commercial Tyre Technician programme, combining academy-based learning with on-the-job experience in the UK's largest CV tyre service provider.

You will spend at least two weeks at the Training Academy in Rochdale, receive mentoring, and learn tyre fitting across commercial, agricultural, and industrial vehicles. Upon qualification, a bonus, overtime and call-out opportunities await. Travel with overnight stays during training provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to on-site training.
• Flexibility for overtime and on-call rota.
• Practical, hands-on approach to tyre fitting.

Responsibilities

• Learn tyre fitting and repair for commercial, agricultural, and industrial vehicles.
• Spend time at the Training Academy in Rochdale with a mentor.
• Develop hands-on tyre fitting skills and progress with uncapped bonus potential.

Job description

• £24,825 - £29,500 per annum
• Mobile role – Van, Tools & PPE provided
• Monday to Friday 08.00 – 17.00, Saturday 08.00 – 12.00
• Once qualified, earn uncapped bonus, overtime & call-out rate.

Please note that travel with likely overnight stays will be required during your initial training period.
