Job summary

Halfords Commercial Fleet Services (HCFS) is the UK\'s largest Commercial Vehicle Tyre service provider. Trainee Technician role offers industry-leading training with a blend of Academy-based learning and hands-on experience, paving the way to a successful career within Halfords Group.

You will spend time at our Training Academy, gain hands-on experience with a dedicated mentor, and learn tyre fitting and repair for a range of commercial vehicles.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work overtime and join an on-call rota.
• Practical approach and hands-on mindset.

Responsibilities

• Begin with academy-based learning and on-the-job training in HCFS.
• Learn tyre fitting and repair across commercial, agricultural and industrial vehicles.
• Progress to a qualified role with uncapped bonus, overtime and call-out opportunities.

Job description

• £24,825 - £29,500 per annum
• Mobile role – Van, Tools & PPE provided
• Monday to Friday 08.00 – 17.00, Saturday 08.00 – 12.00
• Once qualified, earn uncapped bonus, overtime & call-out rate.

As a Trainee Technician with Halfords CFS, you'll benefit from a unique blend of Academy-based learning and on-the-job experience, giving you the skills, knowledge and confidence to build a successful career with the UK's largest Commercial Vehicle Tyre service provider.

• Spend at least 2 weeks at our dedicated Training Academy in Maidstone, with our expert Training Team.
• Gain hands-on experience and support from a dedicated mentor throughout your development.
• Learn specialist tyre fitting and repair across a range of commercial, agricultural and industrial vehicles.
• Once qualified, enjoy an uncapped bonus scheme plus overtime and call-out opportunities.

Please note that travel with likely overnight stays will be required during your initial training period.
