Job summary

Halfords Group in Merseyside is recruiting a Vehicle Tyre Technician (Trainee) based in Liverpool. You will undertake a structured 6–12 month training program, mentored by experienced colleagues and supervised by the H&S team.

You will learn tyre fitting standards, policies, and Safe Systems of Work, with progression opportunities as you meet requirements for DVSA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Passion for working in the automotive industry and to obtain the relevant qualifications.
• Flexibility and willingness to work overtime.
• Possess a full, current driving licence.

Responsibilities

• You will complete the Trainee Technician training program, which will last between 6 and 12 months, depending on experience. You will be mentored by an experienced colleague and monitored by the H&S training and compliance team. You will learn all policies and procedures relevant to your role including the Safe Systems of Work. You will be trained to complete the below qualifications.
