Join a winning team at Maritime Transport! If you have experience within the container transport industry, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you to join a market leader as a Trainee Transport Operator on a 4 on 4 off day shift basis at our Doncaster depot.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Dealing with multiple drivers.
• Communicating with ports.
• Booking delivery slots for entry in ports.
• Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers' start times and finish times.
• Chasing drivers for ETAs and making sure they are on time.
• Rerouting jobs as needed.
• Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system.
• Speaking to customers about possible delays advising ETAs.

We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following:

• Previous experience within Transport or a similar environment – Preferred but not essential.
• Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal.
• Must be happy to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
• Excellent UK geographical knowledge.
• Can work on own initiative.
• Quick and efficient problem-solving skills.
• Organised at all times.
• Flexibility to meet the demands of the business.
