Job Description:

Overview: Join Telent's engineering team as a Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer in Portsmouth. Contribute to maintaining and testing traffic signals and electrical equipment, supporting critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Work alongside experienced traffic engineers to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain traffic signals and related electrical equipment.
2. Participate in on-the-job training to achieve an NVQ in Electrical Installations and sector-specific certifications such as ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Interest in electrical troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance, with some exposure to electrical systems or related coursework.
2. Motivated to learn, with a willingness to undertake online and practical training.
3. Possession of a full UK driving license and residence in the Oxfordshire region.
4. Ability to pass Drugs & Alcohol testing for compliance.
