Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Trainee Engineer to join the Engineering team.

The role offers the chance to complete an Engineering Degree on a part-time basis while developing skills to support manufacturing from raw material to end product, including Application Engineering and Systems Engineering. Responsibilities include hands-on problem solving, CAD drafting, and contributing to initiatives to improve reliability of products, tooling and processes.

Qualifications

• A levels or equivalent in Science/Mathematics or Engineering biased subjects.
• Strong mechanical interest and aptitude.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy.

Responsibilities

• Hands on approach to solving engineering issues on a daily basis.
• Develop designs and CAD drafting abilities.
• Support improvement initiatives to increase reliability of products, tooling and processes.
• Support projects on analysis of efficiency and reliability of manufacturing processes.
