Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. Cranborne, Dorset, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students to succeed inside and outside the classroom during term-time. The role is permanent, 40 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.87–£14.03.

You will build positive relationships, work with teaching staff to deliver a broad curriculum, and support wellbeing and personal development. Driving is required to access the school, with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; candidates with the right values, patience and willingness to learn are welcome.
• Driver with access to a vehicle is required to access the school.

Responsibilities

• Support students' learning, progress and growing independence
• Assist with the planning, delivery and review of education programmes, plans and reports
• Contribute to assessing, recording and reporting on student progress
• Encourage independence and life skills at every opportunity
• Maintain accurate, clear and up-to-date records
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
• Promote positive social behaviours and self-regulation skills
