Looking for a Meaningful Career Change?
If you're considering a new career where you can make a genuine difference every day, this could be the perfect opportunity. We support young people in preparing for adult life through personalised academic and vocational programmes that build independence, confidence and essential life skills. Our work focuses on helping students move towards employment, further education or independent living in a supportive, inclusive environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. This role is ideal for individuals looking to move into education, care or support work, even if you have not previously worked in a school or college setting.
You will build positive, trusted relationships with students, always placing their wellbeing, safety and personal development first. Working alongside teaching staff, you will help deliver a broad and balanced curriculum on-site and in the community. The role is varied and flexible, involving one-to-one support where needed, as well as working with small groups. Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation is an important part of the role.
You don't need prior experience — we're looking for people with the right values, patience and willingness to learn. We will provide all relevant training.
You do need to drive and have access to a vehicle as the school is not easily accessed by public transport routes.
