Job summary

Vision for Education, Newcastle, is offering a paid Trainee Teaching Assistant placement with on-site training and development to help you start a career in education. You will gain on-the-job experience and a pathway to specialise in EYFS, KS1, KS2, or SEND, with comprehensive safeguarding and training support.

Successful applicants will undertake a full training programme delivered by Vision for Education and school leaders, plus ongoing CPD and DBS check arrangements, with weekly pay through

Responsibilities

• Support the teacher in the classroom and run small group interventions.
• Work on a 1:1 basis to meet the needs of individual children.
• Contribute to safeguarding and welfare of pupils during school hours.
