About the Role

The School and Role

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs on their learning journeys? We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals interested in becoming Teaching Assistants at a specialist school in Berkeley. You will support children either 1:1 or in general classes with profound and multiple learning difficulties. Reliability and flexibility are essential, as each day can vary. No formal qualifications are required—just the ability to engage and inspire children with additional needs.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 15:30, during term-time. Various long-term, short-term, and supply roles are available.

Requirements

The ideal SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Recent experience supporting children or adults with additional needs
• Friendly and nurturing qualities
• Well-organized and reliable
