Vision for Education is excited to offer this bespoke opportunity to support passionate individuals entering the education sector. We collaborate with client schools to provide successful Trainee Teaching Assistants with high-quality training and paid on-the-job experience.
Following a successful interview and pending suitability, safeguarding, and identity checks, we will work to secure you a paid placement in a school to develop your skills. We will assist you in establishing your identity as an educator and help you choose your specialist area from EYFS, KS1, KS2 to secondary school and SEND provisions.
Through our NTAP course, prior to starting in a school, you will receive free training to enhance your skills. This includes SEND, Classroom Management, and Introduction to School training courses.
Before beginning your placement, you will complete a comprehensive training program delivered by Vision for Education and school leaders, equipping you with essential skills for working as a Teaching Assistant.
Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in the smooth operation of schools. The most effective Teaching Assistants possess excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting children's daily needs. They build relationships with staff, children, and families.
The role varies across schools. You may support the teacher during class, run small group interventions, or work one-on-one to meet each child's needs and enable them to thrive.
