If you're driven by a passion for supporting children and are ready to grow in the world of education, this could be the perfect next step for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing day-to-day classroom support, both in group sessions and on a 1:1 basis, with a focus on emotional regulation and behaviour guidance.
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive space where pupils feel confident, supported, and encouraged to grow.
  • Gaining hands-on experience working with pupils who have additional needs such as ADHD, SEMH, and anxiety-based conditions.
  • Assisting in the application of positive behaviour support strategies that aid in personal and academic development.
  • Developing meaningful relationships with learners, colleagues, and families to ensure a collaborative and consistent support network.
  • Encouraging the development of emotional literacy, communication skills, and social confidence.

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine interest in supporting children with additional learning or behavioural needs.
  • Someone who connects well with students and can build trust through patience and empathy.
  • Positive, encouraging, and committed to helping learners succeed in their own way.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with empathy and clarity.
  • A real desire to build a long-term career working in SEND or alternative provision.
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, between 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
  • Registered with the EWC (we’re happy to guide you through this process if you’re not registered yet).

What You’ll Gain

  • A competitive daily rate starting from £88.92 to £101.92, with weekly pay and no admin fees.
  • Dedicated support from an experienced consultant throughout your placement.
  • Complimentary access to professional development courses in key areas like ADHD, SEMH, behaviour management, and safeguarding.
  • Contributions to your pension scheme.
  • Consistent recognition for your efforts and impact on students' lives.
