Become a Teaching Assistant

The National Teaching Assistant Programme offers a structured route into education, combining dedicated training with the opportunity to gain real classroom experience.

You'll learn how to support pupils, work effectively alongside teachers, encourage positive behaviour, and help create an environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.

After successfully completing the programme, you'll have the opportunity to take up apaid placement in a local primary, secondary, or SEND school.
